Suddenly it is February

Wasn't January a fast moving month? Even with the all the snow slowing things down a bit it still moved along awfully fast.

(Before I start with  today's post I want to say that for some reason I am unable to reply to any of your comments directly on my blog. I know of number of you can and apparently there are ways however,  short of closing out this account and starting over I have tried all the tricks I could find on google help and nothing changed anything.  So I just want you to know that if I can I will keep trying to figure it out.  I know others can do it but I can't.  If I can ever figure it out I will start doing it.  I feel bad that I can't but so far.........  no............)

Back to why I am here................

Suddenly it is February.   This can be a Romantic month with Valentines Day in the middle and for Valentines Day I hope to have something fun and romantic.  But for this week I will change pace a bit.  I am showing you a small tea set that I recently purchased for my shop.  It is bigger than a child's set but smaller than normal.  Don't know quite how you would classify it.

I love this big tray to use for serving at parties.  It holds a lot including this time, the cup and saucer sets, some tea tag holders, sugar and creamer and even some tiny vases for each place.
The cup and also sugar and creamer have these petty little colonial dancers holding court.

And here is the mark.  You probably aren't surprised that they are Japanese made.

I am not at all sure what this little item was supposed to be, perhaps a salt.  But I decided it would nicely serve as a tea bag holder.  There is no mark on the bottom of them.

And finally here are 4 tiny vases.  I thought if I wanted I could add a little name card with each to put by each place.  They are only a couple of inches tall but I think they are so cute.  They say "occupied Japan" on the bottoms.

I hope you have enjoyed this week's post.

Here are the tea parties I will be joining this week.  Hope you will visit them too.

Remember, these may not be available every week so check to be sure.
