Most Creative People are Rarely Tidy!

As a fairly creative person I hold true to the above statement. I try to keep my messes cleaned up but it is so hard. I start working in a big space and before I know it, I am down to about a 12inch square work space. Now why is that?

Someday I shall be the kind of person that cleans up immediately after making a mess..... Well probably not.

By the way I added the "most" word above to make it six words. The latter 5 words are one of my favorite sayings since it is true of most folks I know.

The Leaves are Nearly Gone Now

I can see farther in the distance now thanks to the absence of leaves. But I miss them already and will hope for their speedy return in the Spring.

Herb Garden is Calling, Needs Weeding

My herb garden is in dire need of weeding to get ready for winter. I must admit I haven't been out there much lately. Tomorrow I will post before and after pictures.

Our Camping Season is Probably Over

We had plans to head out this weekend to use our camper one last time for the season HOWEVER weather at the campground was forecast to be lousy so we decided to stay home. I am sorry as it seems sad to cover up the camper and know it won't be used again for awhile. On the other hand we can now start looking forward and making plans for camping for next year. So it isn't all bad and we can look back at the great memories we made this year. We went to one Nascar Race, five Blue Grass Festivals and one Blue Grass jam weekend in the camper. Who knows what we will add next year.

Life got too busy this week

You might have noticed I haven't done any blogging this week. Sometimes life just gets in the way.
BUT it was a good week, weather wise and lots accomplished.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so it seemed like a good idea to use this as my inspiration this week.

For this weeks Six Word Saturday I am going to talk about something very important to me.

I have reached 7 years as a survivor. My mom had breast cancer back in 1960, long before
the many advances. But she lived for 25 more years. My goal is to do that as well.

My niece Janet was not so lucky. Her cancer was discovered at about the same time as mine. But three years later she was gone. She was such a sweetheart, it is so sad that she left us so early and we all miss her.

Get your self in for your mammogram!!! It is very important. And support Breast Cancer Awareness events in your area.
